Norma was born Norma Socorro Rodriguez on Sept 22, 1948 in Puerto Rico, the daughter of Frank &
Tomasa (Vincente)Rodriguez.
She graduated from Livermore High School in Livermore California.
She married Thomas Weaver on Feb 10th, 1984
She left her husband Tom ( the true love of her life) , a daughter Jody, 3 sons Joey, Tom Dooley &
Jimmy, 2 step-sons Danny & Gary a step-daughter Karen and several grandkids alot of family members
and friends.
Norma was my Aunt & my friend. She married my Uncle Tom. We had a lot of fun together , she was a
funny, loving & caring person. She would do anything for just about anyone.I could tell her anything
& she would't tell a soul if I told her not too. Everyone loved Aunt Norma. She was a partier.
We have kids the same ages, ours sons are cousins & very good friends & one of her sons and mine
were in he military & sent to Bosnia together.. My son is out now.
Her son got sent to Iraq and she naturally worried herself to death , she was so afraid she'd
never see him again.
She had been sick with fibermallisous (or however you spell it), but this was pretty sudden. Her
son got to come home when she was in the hospital .We all prayed that if she could just hear his
voice she would come around. I don't know if she really knew he was there, but he was by her side,
holding her hand and they believe she knew, which is all that matters.
I've know my Aunt Norma along time, even before she was my Aunt. So when my husband committed
suicide in April I could'nt stay at my house the first few weeks alone. I spent alot of nights at
their place .Of course Aunt Norma was always taking in someone.
She would say," ya know, we're family you can stay here anytime you want, and she would call me &
say,"get your ass down here, we're havin a cook out, or I made your favorite soup.. She stayed up
nights crying with me & trying to confort me.
And just 3 short months later she passed away. what heart i had left was broken again.
She will be missed by us all
Love You Aunt Norma
Rest in Peace

-Your Loving Sissy:Bea
Sissy, you have no idea how much I miss you. I delayed a long time going down to your house after you were gone because I knew that it would create to many memories of the times that we shared together there but, last week-end I went down & talked to Tommy & all the kids & it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be because all I could remember were the good times that we spent there & the fun we had when you first bought the place. I looked at the dishwasher & remembered the 1st time that we went to see the house that was about the only thing you remembered about it & when I came out to the farm the next day to help you pack some more you told me that we were going to have to make another appointment to go see the house again before you decided if you want-ed to buy it because all you remembered about it was the dishwasher. We laughed so hard over that. I knew you Sissy when we ran around together before you ever married Tommy & we sure got into some stuff together & after you married him we still got into stuff. Boy, were we honery. Those are the things that I still remember & will never forget. Even after I moved back to Kansas City we stayed in touch & you guys came out to see me & I came to Indiana to see you. That's what true friends are & that is what we were & still are & will always be because to me you are still up there watching over me & trying to keep me out of trouble.Honey, I really do miss you & think of you so often. I have so many mementos that you have given me that all I have to do is pull out a picture book or look around my house & there are so many memories. Norma Lou I never had a better friend or sister & I will never forget you or the way we were. I Love You, Your Big Sister,Bea
Thank You

Aunt Norma
Little did we know that morning
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you did not go alone.
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories,
Your love is still our guide.
And though we cannot see you,
You are always by our side.
Our family chain is broken
And nothing seems the same.
But as God calls us one by one,
The chain will link again.
To,,Normalou(as i called u :o)
